REGIONAL UNITS OF INSPECTORS ASSOCIATION OF CGST IN LUNCH HOUR PROTEST TODAY AGAINST THE SUSPENSION OF TWO INSPECTORS OF AGRA CGST COMMISSIONERATE


Regional Units of Inspectors Association of CGST are in Lunch Hour protest today 13th of March 2019 against the Suspension of two Inspectors viz, Akant Solanki and Kapil Kumar of CGST Agra Commissionerate, Uttar Pradesh. The suspension of the said officers are on the ground of Non-obedience of Higher Authorities instruction to wear Uniform as instructed but as per the contention, the Uniforms are no more prescribed in the present regime of GST.

CIRCULAR ON GRANT OF 5400 PB 2

 CBIC ( Central Board of Indirect Tax and Customs ) New Delhi vide Circular F.No. A-26017/62/2016.Ad.IIA Dated 27.04.2022, clarified and instructed as per the advice of Department of Expenditure, Government of India, the benefit of grant of 5400 PB 2 to those Inspectors who have completed 4 years after getting 4800 PB.   Accordingly, the field formations are instructed and circulated to take necessary actions by collecting data of those who have got similar order from CAT in the line of Hon'ble Madras High Court judgement dated 06.09.2010 against the WP 13225/2010. Now, the similar category of officers can get benefit after getting the similar order from respective tribunals.

MODIFICATION OF INSTRUCTION REGARDING AIR TRAVEL ON GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTS

 CBIC notified instructions regarding air travel ticket booking on Government accounts as per the latest guidelines of DOE. Now air travels including domestics (including LTC) and international can be made from private airlines also and tickets should be made from the 3 specified agencies only.
