CBIC IN PROCESS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF E-OFFICE (SPARROW) FOR GROUP B AND B STAFFS ALSO


As per the latest instruction of CBIC is in process of implementing e-office (SPARROW) for its Group B and C staffs also. This is their second step after successfully implementing for Group A (IRS) staffs SPARROW e-office. With the implementation of this e-office, there will be a smooth and more transparent functioning in APAR updating of their staffs.

And for the implementation of the E-office (SPARROW), gov.in mails have been created for all the staffs and if any of the Group B & C staffs of CBIC is left to create gov.in mail, please go the below link and update your details.

 CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Tax and Customs) under Ministry of Finance notified for allocation of laptops to all the Group B officers irrespective of their posting vide F.No. DOL/log/1/1/2020-AS-DOL-DELHI-part(2) Dated 07.03.2022. This is one of the long pending of the staffs association of CBIC in comparison to CBDT.   So, all the staffs under CBIC of group B can apply with a declaration that he or she didn't received any such laptop from the Department in the last 5(five) years.

CIRCULAR ON GRANT OF 5400 PB 2

 CBIC ( Central Board of Indirect Tax and Customs ) New Delhi vide Circular F.No. A-26017/62/2016.Ad.IIA Dated 27.04.2022, clarified and instructed as per the advice of Department of Expenditure, Government of India, the benefit of grant of 5400 PB 2 to those Inspectors who have completed 4 years after getting 4800 PB.   Accordingly, the field formations are instructed and circulated to take necessary actions by collecting data of those who have got similar order from CAT in the line of Hon'ble Madras High Court judgement dated 06.09.2010 against the WP 13225/2010. Now, the similar category of officers can get benefit after getting the similar order from respective tribunals.
